Spring Meadow Farm!
Situated in Argyle (Washington County), NY; Spring Meadows Farm is in
the rolling foothills between NY's Adirondack Mountains and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Spring Meadow Farm has much to offer!
SHEEP:
Spring Meadow Farm Reg. Tunis, Romneys and Romney/ Leicester/ Cotswold crosses,as lambs and adults, are usually available in the spring. Freezer lambs are for sale in the fall. Occasionally, Barbados cross sheep (for working) are also available.
HERDING LESSONS:
Herding lessons on dog broke sheep are offered starting in the spring, as soon as the snow leaves, and thru the fall until snow arrives. Instinct testing is also offered and at least once a year there are clinics for all levels with different instructors. There are usually ducks available, also for those dogs who might do better on smaller stock.
SPRING MEADOW FARM WOOL PRODUCTS:
Beautiful fleeces, homespun yarn and sheepskins, as well as hand knit items are part of the farm adventure. I also spin wool as well as dog hair and angora for folks.
SPRING MEADOW FARM MAPLE SYRUP:
Made from boiling down the sap from our own maple trees behind our house; this delicious sweet syrup is great on pancakes, ice cream and in baked beans and makes for great gift giving throughout the year.
BEAUWOOD AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS:
For a quarter of a century, Beauwood has made its presence known in all venues of competition. Beauwood is not only a Hall of Fame kennel, but also the breeder/owner of two Hall of Fame sires. Beauwood Aussies are bred for soundness in mind and body. We are where versatility is a fact.
BEAUWOOD GROOMING:
I do professional dog and cat grooming at my home, offering a quiet atmosphere for my clients pets. As owner and sole groomer there are never more than 2 dogs visiting at one time which allows them to be more at ease. With more than 15 years of grooming experience and over 25 years of working with dogs I feel very comfortable with most of the dogs and cats brought to me. Grooming is by appointment only.
Please sit back, relax and enjoy our site!
