Where No Shadows Fall

In memory of Barbie and for the establishment of the "Barbie Memorial Fund"

Remember me by helping others! W325xH214

Barbie, deaf Aussie, was one of our first featured rescue placement dogs and was a rescue success story. She was also our first lost dog featured, and was found. Six short weeks after she was found, Barbie died. This page is dedicated to her memory, in the hopes that it will help other "special needs" Aussies. In memory of Barbie, the "Barbie Memorial Fund" has been established, through Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline, Inc. If you would care to contribute to the help of other "special needs" pups (They do tend to incur more costs in proper physical evaluation and also for transportation, as it is more difficult to find forever homes for them.), please e-mail me, and I will tell you how you can help. Since the fund is administered through ARPH, all donations are tax deductible. Lots of Licks... Eli

WHERE NO SHADOWS FALL
written  by Tony Di Bartolo, my Dad

   The golden sun is shining
   Azure sky a brilliant blue
   Emerald grass is growing
   Lush and oh so cool
   Flowers sweet and fragrant
   Insects buzz and flit
   Beneath the oaks they're playing
Waiting there in peace they sit
Their eyes are bright, noses cold
   Coats shiny soft and long
   No more pain or disabilities
   Former alphas get along
   A multi hued bridge awaits
The soft tread of your feet
   Shadows are banished forever
When again your friends to meet
