| I'm a lucky dog. I'm loved, schooled, cared for and played with; but many of my canine brethren are not as fortunate as I am. I try to help them as best as I can. My human mom is an Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline Representative and we are also a volunteer foster home. I help mom by having an article on my website about Aussie Rescue, that always has a feature dog on it that needs a loving home to call its own. I also have a gallery of previous feature dogs that now have a place that they can call home. The other way I help is by being the best buddy in the world to my new sister, Joy an ARPH rescued deaf Aussie. You can read all about her by going to her pages, Joy's Prelude and It's a Joy's Life. One of our first featured rescue pups, a deaf Aussie named Barbie (Barbie was also our first featured lost dog.), died just six short weeks after having been found. A memorial fund has been set up through ARPH in Barbie's honor to help other special needs Aussies. Go to Where no Shadows Fall to learn more about it. You can also learn more about deaf Aussies like Joy and Barbie by visiting "Special Needs" Aussies. |

| Do to the recent increase in popularity of Aussies and uninformed and irresponsible breeding of us, more and more special needs Aussies are needing homes to call their own. Please visit them on my "Special Needs" Aussies Seeking Homes page. |
