This is My Story 4
Hi! I'm Now 3 Years Old.
DebbieMom and TonyDad had yet another big surprise for me. When I went into the living room and opened my eyes, I could NOT believe what they had done. Much to my shock, my humans seemed to think that I would love to have a bird to call my own so they had the audacity to bring this huge Blue-Fronted Amazon thing into MY house! I was informed that his name was Tiki. Was this a gag gift? I surely wanted to gag! Tiki was loud. Tiki screamed at me. Tiki threw things at me. Tiki scared me. Worst of all, Tiki stole my chewies!
Tiki was a thief!
"Take him back, please." I pleaded over and over. My parents informed me that he was not my birthday present, Tiki was a rescue and was only here for a while. I would have to wait a bit for my birthday present. I breathed a sigh of relief.
I could not imagine what my present was or when it was coming. I waited and I waited. Then early one morning, I heard some noise. I went into the living room to investigate the strange sounds. Low and behold, there was Stellamom with 4 baby girls. "Is this my birthday present?" I asked Stellamom. "One of them is." she replied. "Pick the one you want." I looked at the babies. They were all so cute I could not make up my mind.
I could not believe my good fortune. I watched them grow. For the life of me, I could not decide which puppy I wanted to keep. "May I keep two?" I asked. "NO!" was the immediate response. I waited and watched some more. "Please?" "NO!" I waited and waited. I batted my baby blues. I won! I now have two sisters to play with. Stellamom gave me the best birthday present ever: Zoe and Xena!
